“No investment” does not mean guaranteed cash income. Before spending time on an earning game in India, check whether the reward is withdrawable money, a voucher, store credit or points that only work inside the app.
Reviewed: 16 October 2026. This guide replaces the earlier unsupported monthly earning estimates and blanket claims that skill-based games are “100% legal” or risk-free. It does not certify a cash-game operator or promise a daily payout.
What can you actually receive?
- In-game coins: usually a game balance; do not treat them as rupees unless the written terms establish a valid cash redemption route.
- Gift vouchers: restricted to the named merchant and subject to expiry and redemption conditions.
- Store credit: usable for eligible purchases in that store, not automatically transferable to UPI or a bank.
- A competition prize: conditional on the event’s rules, eligibility and result; it is not a salary.
- Cash: requires a clearly stated payout method, conditions and a provider that can lawfully offer the activity.
A balance displayed on a screen is not proof that money has reached your account. An app may also label a promotional balance differently from a withdrawable balance.
India’s online gaming framework in 2026
The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 defines online money games around paying fees, depositing money or other stakes in expectation of monetary enrichment, whether the game involves skill, chance or both. The Act prohibits offering such games, related advertising and facilitation of payments. It treats qualifying e-sports separately; not every prize competition is automatically the same category.
MeitY’s official announcement of the 2026 Rules states that they take effect on 1 May 2026. Classification considers payments or stakes, expected winnings, the revenue model and how rewards or assets are redeemed. Determinations are specific to the game and provider.
Consequently, neither “skill game” nor “no deposit” is enough to establish an app’s legal status. Examine the actual model and any applicable official determination. This is general information, not an individual legal assessment or an approved-app list.
Why this page does not list guaranteed earning amounts
A meaningful income estimate would need current, reproducible evidence: the time spent, eligibility, completed tasks, rejected tasks, fees and money actually received. We do not have that evidence for a universal daily or monthly figure.
Do not build a household budget around an advertised reward. Even an offer that requires no upfront payment can consume mobile data, battery, attention and personal information. Set a time limit before trying any reward activity.
Google Opinion Rewards: useful distinction, not a cash game
Google Opinion Rewards is a survey app, not a game. Google’s Android rewards guidance explains that surveys can earn Google Play credit, with varying survey frequency and rewards. Some initial questions may not pay; receiving one survey does not guarantee a steady stream.
Google lists India among supported Android countries and sets eligibility requirements in its availability guidance. Check the current requirements before signing up.
Its credit redemption guidance explains that earned Play credit expires one year after it is awarded and cannot be transferred between accounts. This is not an Android UPI cash-withdrawal feature. It may help with eligible Play purchases, but it is not a replacement for cash income.
Checks to make before using a reward app
- Identify the provider. Read the developer name, official website, support contact and privacy policy. A familiar logo on a download page is not sufficient.
- Identify the reward. Look for the currency, permitted uses, conversion rate and expiry. Ask whether the displayed balance is actually redeemable.
- Read withdrawal conditions. Check the minimum threshold, processing period, fees, identity requirements and any conditions tied to referrals or purchases.
- Check eligibility. Age, location and account rules can affect whether you may participate or redeem.
- Look for later payment demands. A “free” activity that later asks for a deposit, stake or payment to unlock a withdrawal needs a fresh assessment. Do not assume the original advertisement still describes it.
- Review privacy costs. Understand what data the app collects and why. Do not supply identity documents to an unverified party simply to rescue an on-screen reward.
If you cannot find clear terms, treat the promised payout as unverified. Reviews and payment screenshots may omit dates, special promotions or the conditions that applied to that particular user.
Warning signs worth acting on
Be cautious about guaranteed daily income, a withdrawal threshold that keeps changing, pressure to recruit contacts, or repeated payments demanded before a reward is released. A claim that a fee is needed to “verify” your payout does not by itself establish a legitimate obligation.
Never share an OTP, banking password or UPI PIN with someone offering to release winnings. If a balance cannot be withdrawn, preserve the relevant terms, transaction records and support messages before closing the account.
How to stop using an earning app
First review any pending transactions, subscriptions and account-deletion options. Save records needed for a complaint. Then use Android Settings, open Apps, select the app and choose Uninstall; labels vary by device.
Removing an installation is separate from deleting the provider’s account or ending a subscription. Use the provider’s published account and billing procedures for those steps. Review permissions and any connected accounts if you gave the app access.
Frequently asked questions
Can I reliably earn ₹100 every day from a free game?
This article has no verified basis for that promise. A reward opportunity should not be presented as dependable daily income without evidence of eligibility, availability and actual payouts.
Are all skill games legal in India?
No blanket conclusion follows from the word “skill.” The current framework distinguishes activities by their actual structure, including money or stakes and expected monetary returns.
Is Google Opinion Rewards a cash-withdrawal game?
No. The Android product described here offers survey-based Play credit rather than a game with UPI withdrawals.
Does “no investment” remove every risk?
No. Consider your time, data, privacy, redemption restrictions and any later demand to pay. A free installation alone does not settle those questions.
