How to check your phone
What AppTN Phone Check can test
AppTN Phone Check uses browser features to help you inspect common phone functions such as display colors, touch coverage, multi-touch input, speaker output, microphone input, camera access, vibration support, motion events and estimated display refresh rate.
Before buying a used phone
Run the display and touch tests first, then check the speaker, microphone and both cameras. A browser test cannot inspect every internal component, so also verify charging, battery condition, network connectivity, physical buttons and any device-specific diagnostics provided by the manufacturer.
Privacy
Camera and microphone tests are designed to run in your browser. The plugin does not include server-side media uploading. Browser permission prompts remain under your control.
Frequently asked questions
Can this test tell me if my phone is completely healthy?
No. It checks functions that a web browser can access or that you can visually confirm. It cannot certify internal hardware condition.
Does AppTN upload my camera or microphone data?
No server-side media upload is included in this tool. Camera and microphone access is controlled by your browser permission prompt.
Why is a test marked unsupported?
Some browsers do not expose features such as vibration or motion sensors. Unsupported does not mean the phone hardware is broken.
Can I use this before buying a used phone?
Yes. Display, touch, speaker, microphone and camera checks are useful first checks, but you should also inspect charging, battery condition, buttons, connectivity and physical damage.
