Zooba mod APK pages commonly promise unlimited gems, unlocked characters or an anti-ban edition. These promises are not verified features of Wildlife Studios’ official game. A video of a large balance does not establish that the balance is valid, permanent or permitted.
Wildlife explicitly prohibits cheats, hacks and APK modifications. Its published policy allows account closure and removal of currency or items. This guide explains the practical implications, how to protect existing progress and what to do if you installed an unofficial copy.

What the official game offers
The official Google Play listing identifies Zooba: Fun Battle Royale Games and Wildlife Studios. It describes animal characters with different abilities, multiplayer battles, upgrades and seasonal events. Look for the publisher identity rather than trusting a copied icon.
The reviewed listing includes in-app purchases and a content notice covering player interaction and purchases with random items. Free installation does not mean every item is free or that an advertised reward is guaranteed. Check the actual offer and your regional store information.
The store also provides Data safety disclosures. Do not call the official game risk-free or claim it collects no information. Read those disclosures and the publisher’s privacy information before choosing the access and account connections you are comfortable with.
Why anti-ban and unlimited-gem claims are unreliable
An unofficial seller cannot override the publisher’s enforcement policy. A label saying anti-ban does not promise protection that Wildlife has agreed to provide. We have no evidence establishing a mod that makes prohibited changes acceptable.
The policy identifies possible consequences including permanent account closure and revocation of in-game currency or items. That is a documented account-policy issue; it should not be confused with an automatic legal verdict in every country.
Do not enter your game-linked credentials into a generator or pay someone to activate an alleged unlimited balance. A countdown, survey or request to install another app is not proof that gems will reach your account.
Protect progress before changing devices or reinstalling
First note your player ID and check the recovery connection in the official game. Keep this information privately with purchase records. A screenshot of your character alone may not be enough to establish account ownership.
Zooba’s recovery guide, updated in August 2026, lists Facebook, Game Center, Apple ID, Google Play Games and Google Sign-In as possible recovery methods. The relevant option depends on what you previously linked and what your device offers.
Use Settings, Account and the method previously connected to your progress. Sign in with the same account. The support guide warns that connecting a different account can save current progress instead of restoring the old account.
If you are unsure which login was used, pause before clearing app data or repeatedly reconnecting accounts. Collect your existing records and ask official support. Do not send credentials to someone offering an unofficial recovery service.
When an unlinked account needs recovery
The current support guide says an unlinked account may still be recoverable through support and requests at least three purchase receipts associated with it. It directs players through Settings, Support and Account Restore to submit the form.
That requirement is not a promise that every account can be recovered. If you lack the requested records, explain that honestly to support; do not manufacture receipts or make new purchases assuming they will prove ownership of an old account.
Share records only through the genuine support process and follow its requested scope. Do not publish receipts or private account information in public comments. A support conversation is more useful when it includes a clear timeline of the loss.
Use official progression and check purchases
Replacing a mod with the official game removes reliance on the mod’s promises, but it does not guarantee a particular match result or erase prior enforcement. If the game shows a restriction, use official support rather than trying alternate accounts to evade it.
Review the current in-game event rules before investing time. This page does not promise a fixed number of daily gems, free characters for referrals or permanent promotional codes. Rewards and eligibility should be checked in the actual event.
Set a spending limit before opening offers. Read what a bundle includes and whether an item is guaranteed or random. Keep the receipt for an intentional purchase. If an item is missing, describe the transaction to support instead of using a generator to replace it.
Troubleshooting without a modified installer
For a failed connection, distinguish a login problem from a match-loading problem. Note the displayed error, time, app version and whether other online services work. Check the official app for an available update and use its support resources.
Do not assume lag proves that a rival is cheating or that a modified client will improve performance. Changing several settings and installations at once makes the original problem harder to identify.
If an unfamiliar app requests access unrelated to gameplay, review its permissions in Android Settings. Keep device protections enabled. A security scan can help identify problems but does not establish that an unofficial build is authorized by Wildlife.

How to uninstall and understand account deletion
Before removing the official game for ordinary troubleshooting, confirm how your progress is recoverable. For an untrusted copy, stop using it and remove it through Android’s app information screen. Google also documents Play Store, profile, Manage apps & devices, Manage, select the app and Uninstall.
Permanent account deletion is a separate decision. Zooba’s support page describes it under Settings and Account and warns that the result is irreversible. Do not choose it merely to fix lag, switch phones or take a break.
Check any recurring billing separately with the provider that charged you. App removal, account deletion, cancellation and a refund request are distinct actions. Choose the one that matches your actual goal.
