Source review: 18 October 2026. Updated using public official documentation. This is not a hands-on app test or a report of a personally witnessed incident.

An Alight Motion phone dialer template is a video-editing project that imitates a calling screen. You can use it for a fictional scene, a music edit or a clearly labeled demonstration. It does not make a telephone call or change your phone’s real dialer.

This guide explains how to approach the previously shared STC 140 template, personalize a project and export a readable video. No template can guarantee viral reach, and compatibility depends on the project, app version and assets it uses.

We have reviewed official Alight Motion documentation, but have not imported or tested this particular template on a device. The original project link is retained below with that limitation rather than described as a guaranteed working download.

Original template link and what is verified

The earlier article linked to this previously shared Alight Motion project. Its current contents, import availability and asset permissions have not been verified in this update. A hosted project link does not mean Alight Motion created or endorsed the template.

Open a shared project only when you trust its source. Review the import prompt and preview before committing time to an edit. If the project is unavailable, request a fresh link from its creator instead of downloading an unrelated APK advertised as the same template.

Use the official app from Google Play or the Apple App Store. A template is project content; it should not require replacing the app with a modified version.

Import a shared project package

Alight Motion’s documented package workflow is to open the Alight link or scan its QR code, then choose Import when the app prompts you. After import, its help page says the project appears in the Templates tab. Screen labels may vary with the version.

If nothing opens, first confirm the official app is installed and compatible with your device. Read any error rather than repeatedly tapping the link. Do not assume a browser redirect proves the project was added successfully.

Once the project opens, play the entire timeline before changing it. Identify text, photos, audio and any layers that show warnings. Keep an untouched copy where the app’s project controls allow it, so you can compare your changes with the starting layout.

Customize the dialer scene clearly

Start with the caller name and photograph. Use a fictional name or a person who has agreed to appear in the video. Avoid showing a real private phone number; a label such as Demo contact is usually enough to tell the story.

Change one element at a time and preview after each change. Long names can extend beyond the caller card, while a replacement photo may crop differently from the original. Check that the image does not cover buttons or captions.

Keep the call status consistent with the scene. A ringing animation, missed-call label and connected-call timer should not contradict one another unless that is an intentional story choice. Use a visible simulation label when the clip could otherwise be mistaken for evidence of a real call.

Photos, fonts and audio need their own checks

A shared project can refer to assets that are missing from your device. If a photo or audio track is unavailable, replace it with media you are entitled to use rather than assuming the project includes everything shown in a preview.

Use your own recording or music with permission appropriate to the intended publication. A song being popular does not tell you whether you may reuse it in an exported video. Check the platform’s audio terms before carrying a track from one service to another.

For fonts, choose a readable replacement if the original is missing. Check line breaks again after changing the font. Listen with headphones and at ordinary phone volume so ringing sounds or effects do not overwhelm speech.

Free features, membership and watermarks

The official app listing describes basic free features and a watermark on created videos. Alight Motion’s help center explains that a subscription removes its watermark and grants Pro features and effects.

That does not establish that this particular shared project will work entirely with free features. Review any membership notice before editing. You can choose simpler available effects rather than assuming a template’s download makes paid features free.

Check the offer shown in your account for billing period, price and renewal conditions. The official subscription guidance says payments and renewals are managed by the store where you purchased. This article does not quote a price that may differ by region or offer.

Export and fix common problems

Preview from beginning to end before export. Look for leftover sample names, blank frames, clipped captions and abrupt audio endings. For a vertical video, choose a vertical project layout and check how the destination app crops its preview.

If export fails, Alight Motion recommends updating from the official store, restarting the device and closing other apps that may use resources. Its help page suggests exporting from the project list by holding the project thumbnail and selecting Export.

If needed, lower the resolution, frame rate or bitrate in export settings. A simpler output that completes successfully is more useful than selecting the largest settings automatically. Save the finished video and play that exported file, not just the editing preview.

A finished export is not a backup of editable layers. Keep the project separately if you want to replace a name, change music or make a later revision. Do not uninstall as your first response to an export error.

FAQ

Does the template make real calls? No. It creates a visual effect in a video.

Is the STC 140 link guaranteed to work? No. The earlier link is preserved, but this update does not claim a successful device import.

Will it make my Reel viral? No template, hashtag or posting time guarantees reach.

Can I use it without paying? Basic app features are free with a watermark. The project may use effects that need membership or replacement.

Back up before you uninstall Alight Motion

Official guidance says deleting or reinstalling Alight Motion permanently removes projects and elements. Before removal, open each important project, select Export, choose Project Package and export it. Keep the resulting link or QR code securely.

Check that your backup is usable before relying on it. Keep any original photos and audio you need as well. Do not assume signing into an account or saving a finished MP4 preserves the editable project.

After backing up, Android users can uninstall through the app information page or Google Play’s Manage apps & devices area. Review and cancel a subscription separately through the store that bills you if you no longer want it.

A useful dialer edit is readable, clearly fictional where necessary and easy to revise. Finish with a playback check and a project backup before sharing.
