The earlier version of this article promised 100 free calling minutes every day through XCall. We could not verify that specific allowance in the developer’s current public information. Do not expect a guaranteed daily bundle, unlimited calls or free service to every number based on the old headline.
What does the current XCall information say?
The official XCall website advertises internet calls to mobiles and landlines and describes credits earned through promotional activities. It does not establish the 100-minute daily entitlement previously claimed here. A general “free calls” advertisement is insufficient evidence of the amount, destinations or conditions of a particular offer.
The old Google Play link did not return a listing during our India-region check. This does not prove worldwide removal, identify the reason or establish whether existing installations still function. We have removed the old install instruction instead of presenting an unverified download as currently available.
Understand the difference between credits and minutes
A credit balance and a minute allowance are not interchangeable. To evaluate an offer, look for the destination rate, whether it covers mobile or landline numbers, any connection fee, and when the credit expires. Promotional tasks may also have conditions that change whether a reward is actually credited.
As a rough budgeting method, divide usable calling credit by the displayed per-minute rate, then account for any fees and billing rounding. This is an estimate, not a promised call duration. Without a confirmed rate and balance, a headline claiming a fixed number of free minutes is not a useful cost comparison.
Does the other person need an internet connection?
It depends on the calling method. For app-to-app conversations, both people use the service over the internet. For an internet call routed to a normal telephone number, the caller uses the internet and the recipient answers through their telephone network. That does not make the caller’s connection or the telephone call automatically free.
A live alternative for calling an Indian phone number
Yolla: International Calling on Google Play has a live public listing and provides a separate way to call supported mobile and landline numbers. Its India rates page lets you check destination pricing. The recipient does not need Yolla for a normal telephone call.
These calls generally use paid credit. Yolla’s FAQ distinguishes them from free app-to-app calls and describes conditional referral rewards. A reward is not guaranteed simply because you install the app, and no 100-minute daily offer is being promised here. Registration uses phone-number verification; it is not an anonymous caller-ID service.
Before you purchase or complete a reward offer
- Confirm that the app is available to your account and supports the exact destination you need.
- Compare the final calling rate with your carrier’s existing plan, including data costs.
- Read reward eligibility, expiry and any purchase requirement before spending time on an offer.
- Check optional automatic top-ups and keep a payment receipt if you decide to add credit.
If both people already use a messaging app that supports internet calls, that may meet the need without a telephone-credit purchase. If the recipient needs a regular phone call, select a supported route with clear pricing. This article reports published information; it does not claim tested call quality or verified free minutes.
How to Uninstall XCall or Yolla
Open Settings → Apps, choose XCall or Yolla, and tap Uninstall. Review any Yolla automatic top-up or recurring plan before you leave the service. App removal alone does not cancel a subscription; manage Google Play purchases in Google Play subscriptions and other purchases through their billing provider.
